Oval Products has reported record sales for its Ezi-Melt de-icer product. Over 500,000 units of the commercial grade de-icing salt have been sold to companies including Palmer & Harvey, Spar and Tesco.

Ezi-Melt white marine salt is available in 1kg, 2kg and 6.5kg containers and is designed for treating steps, paths and driveways. Containers have a ’flip and pour lid’ so they can be resealed for later use. Oval Products’ sales director, Grant Lloyd, says Ezi-Melt is different to other de-icers as it contains more than 99% salt and it doesn’t leave a dirty residue.
