Glasdon has posted a video on YouTube showing its new Advocate Poster Display Sign being tested in hurricane conditions to prove its durability and suitability for use in forecourt situations.

The video shows a unit being subjected to winds of up to 82mph and it remains in position and undamaged.

Neil Gilkes, national sales manager, Glasdon, said: “Poster display signs can be a powerful promotional tool for petrol forecourts, as drivers can easily see the large sign face, helping to boost sales and awareness on your latest offers and services. Advertising signage should be highly visible but the posters should be quick and easy to change too.

“The pavement display sign has a slim line design, making it easy to manoeuvre, allowing petrol retailers to display their advertisements in the best position as required. Advocate display sign holds a 30x40 inch (762mm x 1016mm) poster to give outstanding visual impact.

“The Advocate poster display sign is manufactured from tough, corrosion resistant Durapol material, providing a robust and low maintenance display sign, that’s exceptionally strong and offers a long service life.”

Single or double sided floor standing display signs are available, and it is also available in a wall-mounted version.
