Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a robbery at a service station in Beaconsfield during the early hours of Tuesday March 3.

Just before 3.30am, two men entered Holtspur Service Station, A40, Beaconsfield, and threatened members of staff with a hammer.

The pair then went onto steal a quantity of cash and cigarettes before making their escape in a white van, which was later found burnt out at Holtspur cemetery.

The offenders are described as being between 5ft 10ins and 6ft and of athletic build, but no further descriptions are available. No-one was injured during the robbery.
