Suffolk Police have issued an alert to forecourt owners after thousands of litres of diesel were stolen from a filling station at Kentford, in Suffolk.

The incident occurred between 8pm on Wednesday, November 6, and 6am on Thursday, November 7, at the Bury Road Filling Station. About 14,000 litres of diesel were siphoned from a tank at the site, with an estimated value in excess of £18,000.

Police say a large vehicle would have been required to steal this amount of fuel and they would like to hear from anybody who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area.
