Staffordshire Police are appealing for witnesses following a cash-in-transit robbery at a petrol station in Stafford on Saturday 19 October.
The incident happened at around 1.30pm on the forecourt of the Esso petrol station at Lammascote Road. Officers are keen to trace two men who arrived at the forecourt on a Honda 500 CB motorbike, shortly before the robbery took place.
One of the men, believed to be the passenger, attacked a security guard and stole a quantity of cash. He is described as white, aged in his twenties, wearing a black coat, black tracksuit bottoms with a white stripe and trainers, and also wearing a black full-face motorbike helmet with a distinctive oval logo on the back.
The rider of the motorbike was wearing a grey coat and a dark-coloured full-face motorbike helmet.
The security guard wasn’t harmed during the incident but is badly shaken.
The two men made off from the scene on the motorbike, registration BX51 MFU, which was later recovered off Riverway on the cricket and hockey club car park, opposite the White Eagle Polish club. Earlier, the motorbike was seen near the Hough Retail Park just before the incident at 1.15pm
Officers are also keen to speak to anyone who saw a silver and red Mitsubishi Shogun which drove through a red light on Riverway and turned left onto the A34 towards Cannock. It was driven by a man described as being white with a shaved head and two other men were in the vehicle.
