Lincolnshire Police are appealing for information after the theft of a large amount of fuel from a service station, near Grantham.

This incident took place on Friday August 9 between 1.30am and 6am at Great Ponton Services on the A1 northbound.

Police say the perpetrators gained access to underground storage pipes and siphoned off around 6,500 litres of diesel.

They are appealing for anyone who was at the service station during this time period and saw any suspicious activity or vehicles to get in touch with them as soon as possible.
