Fishermans’ Friend is launching a new £1m advertising and promotional winter campaign, which runs until February, as well as a new product – Cherry Menthol lozenges.

The campaign includes national and specialist press plus a six-sheet outdoor poster campaign that promises consumers ‘Relief from extreme conditions’.

Other advertising messages include ‘Try a drop of the strong stuff’ and ‘When frost bites, bite back’. Retailing for around 65p, the new cherry flavour has no added sugar, and the company expects it to quickly become established as the number two seller in the range behind Original Extra Strong.

The new display outer contains 24x25g packs and is being distributed by Jenks Sales Brokers and marketed by Impex Management Company.
