Many senior managers are facing redundancy at leading wholesaler Palmer and Harvey, as the Brighton-based organisation conducts a fundamental review of its management structure.
A Palmer & Harvey spokesman said the company was unable to comment while the consultation was taking place, and that further information would be released shortly. However it agreed to release the following statement: “Palmer and Harvey can confirm that it has commenced the process to align itself closer with its customers and suppliers. This involves a review of its management structures. As a result we are in consultation with a small number of individuals, and for this reason we cannot comment further at this stage.”
