OPW Fueling Components EMEA, a global business unit of OPW Fueling Components Group, has announced that the first fueling nozzles, breakaways and hoses from its AVANCE product family have come off the production line at its European manufacturing facility in Prague, Czech Republic in compliance with ISO and ATEX standards and regulations.

After first creating an AVANCE production facility in the United States, this new line in Europe demonstrates OPW’s commitment to localise its presence in the markets it serves. OPW says customers are welcome to visit the new production facility and observe the production line in action.

“We recently featured the new OPW AVANCE product line-up at the Automechanika show in Frankfurt, Germany, and the response was extremely positive,” said Fred Hess, Director of sales & marketing, OPW EMEA. “Based on the feedback we received, it is clear that the innovative OPW AVANCE is setting a new standard for fueling nozzles worldwide in regards to safety, customer comfort and durability.”

OPW’s new AVANCE next-generation nozzle and system solution, which was introduced to the EMEA market in April 2012, is the direct result of extensive consumer research, as well as industry customer’s input on how a next-generation nozzle should ideally perform and look. Hess said AVANCE’s technical innovations will increase profitability, decrease service and maintenance costs for operators, and protect customers and the environment during the filling process.

"The AVANCE product line is available as a conventional nozzle, a vapor-recovery nozzle, and as a fully certified and complete system solution with AVANCE hose and AVANCE swivel breakaways. The multi-plane AVANCE swivel breakaway has been designed to rotate 360 degrees around its axis and 70 degrees from side to side, offering superior customer convenience and safety. All AVANCE components are fully compatible and retrofittable with the installed base in the field."
