Imperial Tobacco’s Richmond range has been extended with the launch of Profile compact cigarettes. Compact cigarettes are king size in length but smaller in diameter. The new Profile product therefore has a lower recommended retail price than standard Richmond at £6.50 for 20. Price-marked packs with a £6.50 flash will be available while stocks last.
The company says Richmond Profile is designed for "the modern, busy consumers" and they offer the same high quality and value for money for which the Richmond brand is renowned. Imperial’s head of consumer marketing Amy Kiss said: "Since January this year, our figures show that sales of compact sized cigarettes have tripled and they provide tobacco shoppers with an alternative to king size cigarettes."
