Top 50 Indie MRH completed the sale of its Pace Fuelcare subsidiary to DCC plc on the September 30. The business sold 455 million litres of fuel in the year ending September 26, 2010 and operates from 19 locations across southern England with a fleet of 83 road tankers and 201 employees.
The deal was cleared by the UK Office of Fair Trading, which accepted undertakings in lieu of referral, whereby MRH retains its fuel terminal and distribution business on the Isle of Wight.
Commenting on the sale, MRH CEO Graham Peacock, said: “The business made an excellent strategic fit for DCC and enables MRH to focus on other areas of expansion.”
