Digital View has introduced a compact
7-inch LCD display unit with integral media player that it says offers high quality at a price point that’s lower than any comparable product on the market.
The self-contained unit would be ideal for point-of-purchase displays. Its integrated solid-state digital media player is enclosed in an open frame for easy assembly.
Digital View also designs and makes many of the components for media players. Its latest is the 7-inch point of purchase VideoFlyer which it says is ideal for use as a flexible and cost-effective promotional and branding tool.
With a 16:9 display format, the VideoFlyer supports MPEG-1, MPEG-2 and JPEG with support for MPEG-4 coming soon.
“Incorporating a video display into retail fixtures is becoming increasingly popular with a wide range of brands,” says Ian Larkman, Digital View’s retail solutions manager. “Our 7-inch open-frame VideoFlyer breaks new ground in terms of ease of use and price. It will be of real interest to all those implementing latest generation in-store digital signage and messaging solutions.”
