Brulines Group has agreed to acquire LBI Installations, subject to due diligence, in a deal expected to go through on July

16. Brulines will pay an initial £360,000 followed by performance-related deferred payments.

Established in 2006, LBI operates web-based contract management solutions for forecourts. It has a contract with one of the major supermarket chains.

On completion of the acquisition, Craig Brocklehurst – the current managing director of LBI – will become operations director of Brulines forecourt service division, reporting to managing director of that division, Phil Maud.

Brulines’ aim is to offer the forecourt sector a market-leading, integrated ’toolbox’ of data management, analysis and association products and services.

Maud said: "This acquisition is one of the final elements in building a product portfolio and organisation capable of delivering our forecourt strategy. Across the division we now supply solutions to UK forecourt retailers accounting for over 60% of the fuel sold in the UK, including most of the major supermarkets and leading oil company brands."
