Quaker has launched a new porridge aimed at children. Paw Ridge is designed to be a healthy but convenient option. The oat-based breakfast product comes in individual sachets which can be microwaved in 90 seconds.
The product is designed to appeal to 8- to 12-year-olds and is available in original 10-sachet packs and honey eight-sachet packs. Both have a rrp of £1.99.
Sean Summers, Quaker marketing director, says: "The children’s cereal market is in growth and we know from our research that mums are looking for a cereal that meets their health and convenience needs but also has the taste and appeal to make their children want to eat it."
