Shell has just sold its billionth litre of Optimax, which was launched in the UK in 2002.

According to the oil company, approximately one in eight Shell fuel customers buy Optimax, which is available at more than 900 UK forecourts.

To mark the sale of the billionth litre, a Shell customer has been awarded an all-expenses paid Champagne reception at motoring event MPH ‘04.
