== Murco rebrands sites ==

 

Murco Petroleum is to change its 56 Jet-branded sites to Murco when its four-year retail supply agreement with ConocoPhillips ends later this year. The rebranding will take place between August and October and will include sites in England and Scotland. Jeremy Clarke, Murco marketing director, said: "Although our relationship with ConocoPhillips has been good, our brand aspirations together with significant benefits from our Milford Haven Refinery acquisition have resulted in our decision to supply the sites ourselves."

 

== Supersize Shell ==

 

Shell UK officially opened what it claims is the biggest service station in the UK last month. The new Shell Beaconsfield site is located on the M40 at Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, and has the capacity to serve several hundred customers an hour, with underground storage for 1.2m litres of fuel. Planned activities for the day included a stunt car display as well as offering windscreen washing by the Shell Pit Crew and the chance to see a static display of the Ferrari Formula One show car and the latest Superbikes from Ducati.

 

== Bristol fashion ==

 

Chevron has bought Total’s share of the Bristol Oil Storage Ltd fuel storage terminal in Avonmouth, Bristol, making the company the sole owner of the facility. Mark While, logistics manager for Chevron in Europe, said: "By taking full ownership of the Bristol Terminal, Chevron can look at the opportunities to invest in the facility and also to secure supplies of quality Texaco fuels for our customers."
