Coca Cola Enterprises is giving away £1.5m-worth of prizes over the next few weeks, including trips to the finals of Euro 2008, JCV home entertainment systems worth up to £2,500 and European short break holidays.

Shoppers can also take part in the promotion by text or via the internet at [http://www.cokezone.co.uk]. They receive a text with a match, a minute within the match and the prize available to be won. If a goal is scored within the allocated minute, the consumer wins. Those who enter three times are automatically put into four special draws to win an exclusive pair of tickets to the Euro 2008 final in Vienna.

The promotions will run on Coca-Cola and Coca- Cola Zero.

Meanwhile, Diet Coke is targeting core female consumers by offering 2,500 cinema tickets - to be won every day in May and June. In addition, Diet Coke ads will be screened in 235 cinemas across the UK.

Kenny Chisholm, Coca-Cola Enterprises trade communications manager, says: "Despite the home nation’s absence, we are confident Euro 2008 will draw huge interest with UK consumers."
