Monster Energy has announced a partnership with Activision, celebrating the launch of ‘Call of Duty, Black Ops 4’.

Monster fans will be able to enhance their ‘Call of Duty, Black Ops 4’ experience by collecting codes from under the ring-pulls of co-branded Monster Energy cans. The codes can be exchanged for Double XP (gaming currency) for use within the new game – which is available from October 12.

Coca-Cola European Partners, which manufactures and supplies Monster Energy in GB, said the latest edition in the Call of Duty franchise features gritty, grounded, fluid Multiplayer action - the biggest Zombies offering ever - with three full undead adventures at launch, and Blackout, where the universe of Black Ops come to life in one massive battle royale experience. The game also features the largest map in Call of Duty history, signature Black Ops combat, characters, locations and weapons from the entire Black Ops series.

The ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’ branded cans will be supported with POS material, including off-fixture display units to help increase visibility in-store and drive sales for retailers.

Simon Harrison, customer marketing director at Coca-Cola European Partners, said: “We are very excited to be working with the Call of Duty franchise again, and look forward to delivering our most successful partnership yet. We will be giving even more Monster and Call of Duty fans the opportunity for an even better gaming experience so would recommend that retailers get stocked up to take full advantage of the additional sales the promotion will help drive.”
