Ben Lawrence is a real family man - working in the family business and spending any spare time travelling with his wife and kids

01 Career history:After I finished my education I went to work for Jonathan James in Ely shadowing the manager and learning the ropes, before moving over to Lawrences where I started as a cashier and steadily moved my way up.

02 Dream job if you weren't doing this:I love open water diving and always liked the idea of being a diver in the Royal Navy.

03 What do you drive?A4 Avant Black Edition.

04 What would you like to drive? With a family of four, an Audi Q7 would be ideal.

05 Perfect day: Discovering a new city with my family sight-seeing, indulging in some local food and drink, and experiencing new cultures.

06 Favourite team:My football team is Liverpool; rugby team Leicester Tigers; and cricket team Kent CC.

07 Favourite read:With my love of travel, a good travel book.

08 Favourite film:The Gruffalo (a quiet few minutes with the family).

09 Best holiday: Being a sports nut, it would have to be Australia 2003, watching the Rugby World Cup.

10 Possessions you couldn't do without: It would have to be my mobile phone or my wedding ring.

11 Most admire: my grandfather or 'Poppa' as we know him. He worked in the business until he was 80 and still shows a keen interest today.

13 Least likely to say:"Of course, you can have more uniform."

17 Best business advice you've received:Never be afraid to ask for advice. No question is ever stupid.

18 Best thing about your job:I am proud to be the fifth generation driving our family business.
