Devon & Cornwall Police are hunting for a suspected drunk driver who smashed a silver 4x4 into a service station at Exmouth, Devon in the early hours of July 25.

The incident happened at around 3.15am at the Shell Garage on Exeter Road, when a car rammed into the front of the service station shop, before driving away.

Police are looking for a silver Grand Cherokee Jeep in relation to the incident, and sergeant Harry Tangye said they were also looking for “a suspected drunk driver”.

The damage left a window smashed, an outdoor display destroyed and bottles of car wash strewn across the forecourt.
