JTI is introducing three limited-edition seasonal pack designs for Silk Cut, its lower-tar premium cigarette brand. The designs feature acorns, leaves and an ice cube. They are currently being rolled out nationally across packs of Silk Cut purple, blue and silver 20s and will be available for four weeks only, while stocks last.

Galaxy has launched Gift for You. A limited-edition self-eat treat, it combines two of the most popular Galaxy tastes in one one half is solid chocolate while the other is caramel-filled chocolate. The launch comes as the self-eat category experiences 34% growth (IRI), while Galaxy continues to be the biggest Mars brand with double-digit growth every year for the past five years. Rrp is 65p.

Crunchie celebrates

Premier Foods is launching Cadbury Crunchie Celebration cake as part of an initiative to introduce confectionery brands into cake formats. The new product comprises layers of honeycomb sponge, separated by Crunchie-flavoured butter cream, smothered in Cadbury milk chocolate and topped with chocolate Crunchie pieces. Recommended retail price is £6.49 and it serves at least 10 people.

PepsiCo and Britvic have joined together for their first-ever UK cross-brand promotion. The Fire and Ice campaign sees the launch of spicy jalapeno fire- flavoured Doritos, complemented by a 'cooling lime' flavoured Pepsi Max called citrus freeze. A marketing campaign, incorporating a new TV ad, will support both product launches, in a move that is designed to drive cross-promotional sales.
