Ginsters is adding a three-strong range of deep fill savoury pies to its range. The 250g individual pies are: deep fill steak, deep fill roast chicken and deep fill steak & mushroom. Each pie is filled to the brim with chunks of meat in gravy, topped off with shortcrust pastry.
Ginsters says the launch represents one of its biggest to date. Andy Valentine, head of marketing, explains: “We intend to create a premium brand tier in the pie sector to encourage consumers to trade up and deliver a great quality product. Exclusive research was carried out to develop the range and 84% of hot-pie buyers said they are likely to buy them from Ginsters.”The new range will be available from September 14, with a suggested retail price of £2.29. 01579 386380
