Solero is introducing the fruity pineapple flavour from its popular fruit ice range into the out-of-home market. Brand owner Unilever said the Solero fruit ice pineapple is the only lolly product on the market made with real fruit pieces.

With just 60 calories and no artificial colours or flavours, it is described as a 'light alternative to ice cream' and offers consumers a 'light and refreshing experience'.

Melanie Rolfe, senior ice cream category manager for impulse at Unilever UK, said: "Solero fruit ice has proven extremely popular since its launch in-home last year, with the range now worth £730,000 (IRI)."
