Signing spree for Jet

01 December, 2011

Jet is seeing more and more independent forecourts joining the brand. In this quarter alone, the brand has welcomed a further 10 service stations to its network in the Midlands, Yorkshire and Greater London.

The 10 sites join a network of around 380 independently operated service stations across the UK. John Musgrave, who operates Armstrong Massey in Driffield, Yorkshire, is one retailer to join the brand. “We were looking for a change of image to something that was fresh and modern,” he said. “We also wanted a brand that would provide better value to us, and our customers. We believe that Jet fits the bill on both counts.”

Jet’s growth can be largely attributed to its added value service, claims Wayne Oakes, Jet’s retail regional manager in the Midlands: “Jet’s commitment to excellence encourages its dealers to achieve the very best across the key areas of customer service and value. The incentives for becoming a Jet dealer are clear; the strong brand identity, competitive pricing, fair supply agreements and dedicated support staff who are knowledgeable of the local market conditions so can offer practical advice.”

The majority of Jet sites are located within local communities or rural areas, rather than on motorways or A roads, so act as ‘hubs’ for the local communities in which they are based. This is why ‘Fuelling the Local Community’ has been at the heart of Jet’s ethos for a number of years.
