Mars Delight is to be part of a £1.7 million sampling activity that will target women with nearly four million full-size bars, in the hope they will experience ‘delightful’ moments.
Heading up the sampling campaign will be teams of hit squads who will target 17 major UK cities and towns including Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Bristol, Bath and Belfast.Sampling will take place at popular female-focused stores and events – including 200 Tony & Guy salons; this month’s UK Wedding show; and the BBC Good Food Show in November. Andrea Taylor, trade relations manager at Masterfoods, says the sampling campaign will ultimately support and benefit retailers: “Already the UK’s fastest-selling chocolate bar, the product has proven to be a great success and this further sampling is part of our aftercare programme that will increase the brand awareness and hugely benefit retailers through repeat purchases.” 01753 550055
