Nisa launches World Food promotional event

A new promotional event is being launched for Nisa retailers to help them tap into the popularity of the world food category.

Following on from a series of events focusing on particular food types including Chinese, Indian, Italian and Mexican, Nisa is this month hosting a “whatever you fancy” event incorporating favourites from across the entire range.

With a 95% of UK households regularly purchasing products from the World Food category and 90% of shoppers cooking for family and friends at least once a month, it is hoped that the latest promotional activity will encourage shoppers to make these purchases from their local Nisa store.

Brands including Uncle Ben’s, Blue Dragon, Sharwood’s, Napolina and Barilla all make up the offer with 2 for £2 deals on a variety of sauce jars, noodles, pastas and rices.

Philippe Rondepierre, head of marketing at Nisa Retail, said: “Using our eye-catching point of sale material, we’re encouraging Nisa partners to create easy to shop end displays with a variety of choice to ensure they cater for all the different World Food categories.

“Shoppers are increasingly looking for meal solutions to make quick, easy and tasty meals and the World Food category is an area which serves this shopper mission well. Now our partners are encouraging their customers to have a bit of ‘whatever they fancy’

The “whatever you fancy” event starts in stores on Monday 15 April and runs for three weeks.
