Spar Scotland has introduced a new solution for merchandising chilled promotions within its convenience stores.
With fresh foods a priority growth area for the symbol group this year and many of its Real Deals promotions including fresh products, Spar has launched a new Real Deals chiller unit.Traditionally, chilled promotions have been displayed in cabinets at the back of the store. By locating the new chillers near entrances, Spar aims to show customers its stores are key destinations for fresh foods.The units are 1.5m tall by 1m wide with four shelves. The chillers are delivered to stores complete with red finish and imagery.Ideal for changing promotional displays from weekday to weekend offers, the units can also be used for special events or impulse opportunities. A trial conducted in Spar Scotland saw big increases in sales of chilled products promoted in the chillers.01382 512000
